Is Ava a viable doorway to Influencer marketing?
A few weeks ago I watched this webinar where the Morrison brothers spoke about partnering with Kylie Jenner for an instagram influencer promo, although I think they had another name for it. Will check. But basically, you can get into this group whereby whenever an influencer wants to push a brand, you co-sponsor it and become a ‘partner’ so you are mentioned in the shoutouts from the influencer – in this case Kylie Jenner.
They never actually spoke to her or her agent or manager. It’s a business where there are networks and middle people who sort out the whole thing.
Then today, this email landed in my inbox:
Hi there,
I hope it’s okay to contact you via email. We noticed your profile on Instagram, and wanted to see if you’re interested in doing sponsored collaborations with brands?
We developed a Talent Manager app where you can easily apply for collaborations with different brands, marketing agencies and influencer platforms, all in one place. If you’re interested, you can try it out here.
The basic version of the Talent Manager is free – we’d love you to give it a try! 🙂
Please let me know if you’d like to hear more details, or feel free to take a look how it works by signing up here.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

As I raced the cursor towards the delete button, something caught my eye. “Talent manager app where you can apply for collaborations with different brands, marketing agencies and influencer programs.” Say what? Now, if I hadn’t watched that webinar, this would have meant nothing to me because my mind was screaming, “SPAM! SPAM! SPAM!” But I did watch it. So I stopped. Wait what? Really? I didn’t click on any of the links in the email (gotta play safe)
That Google Doodle in the Corner
Today’s Google Doodle, by the way, honors American Civil Rights Movement activist, Felicitas Mendez.
CNN wrote about it here. It’s Hispanic Heritage Month and there’s an interesting story about how that came to be an official commemoration in the US here.
Ok, where were we? Yes, I googled them and they are legit. Checked out their site.
Can’t wait to try this out!? Imagine the possibilities for artists? This would be a super tool for Artist Dynamics.
