Project Update: This painful zero-pollination experiment

No pollination allowed...

Here’s the thing I’ve never told you. This website, this whole Iz Mazano thing. I’m trying to do it without telling my friends and family.

I know if I told them, if I shared this site on my personal social media profiles and on some of the other pages I run, I could get some support, social proof, momentum, etc, but the challenge I have given myself is to see if it’s possible to build it without cross-pollination of followers from any of the other platforms I am involved with.

It’s damn hard. But I am trying to build a model here that can be used by people who don’t have a following at all on social media. I’m trying to get an understanding of how hard it is, of how to turn corners and get to new levels – from zero. The reason is simple. I want to teach other poets and artists to do this.

Of course, it’s only a matter of time before someone catches on and shares it, but we’ll deal with that when it happens.

In the meantime, I have a few ideas to get the rocket fired up. I’ll let you know how it goes.
